Ethridge
Head Coach
Coach Nate Ethridge is from Hazel Park Michigan and a graduate of Central Michigan University He spent the last 18 years as the head coach at Chippewa Hills HS in Mid Michigan. While at Chippewa Hills coach Ethridge amassed a career record of 516-94, 11 Regional Titles, 14 District titles, 11 League titles, 5 top four finishes, and state runners up in 2016. He was awarded the NWCA Michigan state coach of the year in 2017 and Michigan Wrestling Association state coach of the year in 2009. Coach Ethridge will be teaching Physical Education at Collins Hill HS and also is on the freshman football staff.
Coach Ethridge has been married to wife Chi for 19 years. Chi will be teaching at Creekland Middle School after spending the last 16 years as an administrator in MI. They have 5 children, Payton (18), Alyson (16), Jaxon (13), Laudon (11), Taison (8).

Parker
Community Coach
Coach Cody Parker is a Collins Hill alumni who began wrestling at nine years old. His senior year at Collins Hill was one of the most productive in school and Georgia athletics history. That year, Collins Hill Wrestling showcased nine future collegiate wrestlers, and ended the season ranked in the top 15 in the nation.
Coach Parker graduated from Collins Hill in 2008. He coached at Oconee High School in Athens, GA for one year before attending Menlo College in Palo Alto, CA where he wrestled. Cody left Menlo to pursue a career with Marriott.
Coach Parker returned to Georgia to continue his career at Marriott while officiating for GHSA wrestling on the side. After a couple of years, Coach Parker returned to his alma mater to help out as an community coach. He has been with Collins Hills program for 4 years now.

Shannon
Felix
Assistant Coach
Coach Shannon Felix is from Antioch California, where he began wrestling freestyle at the early age of eight years old. High School wrestling accomplishments included a senior season record of 34-4, winning three league championships (first in school history), league MVP, second at North Coast Sectionals and a state qualifier. As a freestyle wrestler Coach Felix placed at numerous state, regional and national tournaments. Highlights included a 1st place at California State Championships (HS division) and a 2nd place finish at the Junior Nationals Wrestling Championships. Coach Felix attended Diablo Valley Junior College, where he placed 5th at the Junior College Wrestling Championships. He transferred to San Jose State University after two years, earning a degree in Business Management and wrestled on scholarship for the Spartans. As a starter for the Spartans, he placed 3rd in Conference and was one of the team captains in both his junior and senior seasons. Coach Felix has been married to his wife Ellie for 24 years and has three children (Kailey, Joey and Lindsey). Joey currently wrestles for Collins Hill High School.

Shaun
Scruggs
Assistant Coach
Shaun Scruggs is a graduate of Peachtree Ridge High School, where he wrestled for 4 years beginning the sport as a freshman. He then continued his wrestling career at Georgia Southern University where he competed with their club team and was a captain for 2 years. He holds a Bachelors degree in History and a Masters in Special Education. He continues to pursue his grappling passion as a purple belt with Creighton Mixed Martial Arts. He lives with his wife Kaleigh, who holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and their two dogs Mac & Biscuit.

Director/ Head Coach of Collins Hill Youth and Middle School Program
Coach Danielson is in charge of the Collins Hill Youth Wrestling Club. Working with kids ranging from 4-15 years old. Helping develop skills in wrestling and life. Collins Hill Youth Wrestling Club was established to promote excellence in wrestling and to positively influence the lives of kids in the Collins Hill School District. We are committed to teach wrestling through a fun experience, emphasizing sportsmanship, skill building, physical conditioning, goal setting, competitive spirit, strong work ethic and a winning attitude.
Coach Danielson is married to his wife Melissa and they have two lovely children. They have a daughter named Ellie and a son named Hudson who competes for Collins Hills youth program.
